The banquet and ceremony is held Saturday evening. You can find out more about it under "Special Events" and on the "Hourly Schedule." If you are a finalist for the EPIC eBook Awards or an ARIANA winner vying for the QUASAR and cannot attend the full convention, be aware that we sell banquet/ceremony only and Sunday breakfast only options for people in your situation. In addition, you are more than welcome to use the convention hotel rate and purchase passes to the historic district or specialty EPICon 2011 items from us, even if you are not registering for the full convention. |

The Awards Banquet has been a cornerstone of EPICon since the very first convention, held in 2000. Early convention committees decreed that EPICon should showcase the industry awards and should be glitz and glamour in motion when we did. Though many other things about EPICon have changed in the last 12 years, that's one thing that hopefully never will.
